Teigland, Franklin & Brokken, DVMs, P.A. held its annual charity golf tournament at the Pembroke Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Lakes, Florida on March 7, 2011.
There were 134 participants in this year’s tournament, including horsemen and women from Gulfstream Park, Calder Race Course and Palm Meadows Training Center, as well as representatives from equine pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors and ancillary services.
An impressive total of $14,151 was raised to benefit three very worthy charities – Thoroughbred Charities of America, Florida T.R.A.C., and La Casa de Mi Padre. The funds were raised through player donations, raffles and a silent auction. The generosity of the participants was awe-inspiring, and Teigland, Franklin & Brokken wishes to express its gratitude to all of those who played and donated this year.
