LeLeah O’Mearaah grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and moved to Kentucky to attend college at Midway University. While attending university she worked for Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital for five years and then in veterinary pharmaceutical sales for another five years.

After meeting and marrying her husband Aidan O’Meara they settled in at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm, having three children, Aidan (7) Julia (5) and Charlotte (3). While raising the kids, Leah works part-time with her family’s farm, Stonehaven Steadings in Versailles, Ky.

In 2018, both Leah and Aidan moved onto Stonehaven Steadings where they now are able to devote more time to the farm. Stonehaven is involved in breeding, racing, and selling Thoroughbreds. Notable Stonehaven Graded Stakes horses include 2YO Champion Shanghai Bobby, stallion Daredevil as well as G2 winner Hour Glass, G2 placed Olive Branch, and recent G3 placed horses Royal Act and Strongconstitution.

At Stonehaven Leah runs the sales department and manages investment opportunities, whether it be through private purchase/sale or at one of the public auctions. She has developed and manages investor relations and partnership formation, in addition to sourcing bloodstock opportunities and pedigree research.

When not busy with the farm she’s spending time with the kids, handicapping Thoroughbred racing, golfing, and riding Stonehaven OTTB’s including Luzianna Man, one of the farms home bred stakes winners.
