LEXINGTON, Ky. – Thoroughbred Charities of America has been named the charitable beneficiary of “An Evening of Equine Art” to be held at the Rick Scalf Gallery in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday, April 18 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

The event will offer hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and live music with a silent and live auction featuring equestrian themed items and museum quality artwork by artists including Rick Scalf, Elizabeth Shatner, Margie Rigney, Katie Logan, Robert Wilson, Brad Biliter and more. Proceeds from ticket sales and auction items will benefit TCA.

“We are honored to be a part of An Evening of Equine Art as we celebrate 25 years of TCA,” said Erin Crady executive director of TCA. “Equine art enthusiasts will surely enjoy the pieces procured by the Rick Scalf Gallery.”

“This is an amazing way to bring artists and equine enthusiasts together for a great cause,” said Leigh Ann Scalf, co-owner of the gallery.

TCA was formed in 1990 to raise and distribute funds for charities in the Thoroughbred industry which provide a better life for Thoroughbreds both during and after their racing careers by supporting retirement, rescue, research and by helping the people who work with them. Over the last 24 years TCA has distributed over $20 million in grants to more than 200 Thoroughbred-related organizations. TCA is the charitable arm of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA).
